Boston, MA May 5, 2006 After 30 years of making technology for network-monitoring companies in the fire and burglary industries, AES Corp. is taking its wireless mesh networking skills to the Internet.
The move opens a new market for the Peabody-based company.
“We have been growing about 40 percent year over year for the past couple of years, but this could make our growth exponential,” said Tom Kenty, general manager of the 55-employee AES. “This opens up the multiplebranch customers, a huge area we were previously missing.”
