Power: 110/220 volts A.C. 50/60 Hz., switch selectable
Power Backup: Rechargeable gel battery, 6 volt, 1ampere hour
Line Security: Balanced line, requires a passive end-of-line terminator for each channel.

EMI/RFI Immunity: Equipment emits no detectable EMI/RFI. Designed and constructed to eliminate false alarms or improper operation due to high levels of EMI/RFI.

Switches
Access/Secure: Each channel has an access/secure switch which allows for accessing of a protected area without disturbing any other zones in the secure mode. An amber light indicates a channel in access mode. Any movement of this switch causes an alarm condition, thus notifying the operator that a change has taken place, including accidental or intentional tampering.
Test Switch: Tests all channels by simulating an imbalance of the line security.
Silence Switch: Shuts off the audible signal but leaves the red channel light steady on.
Reset Switch: Turns off the red channel light and resets all channels. If a channel is still in alarm condition it will re-trigger after reset.
Indicators, LED's:
Red LED's: Indicate an alarm by flashing, steady on when the silence button is pushed.
Amber LED's: Indicate that a zone is in access mode.
Green LED: Indicates that A.C. power is on. Goes off when battery backup is in use, indicating the system is consuming its reserve battery.
Connectors, Inputs: Lines are terminated on a barrier block.
Logic: High noise immunity CMOS logic is used. CMOS is also the lowest of all power consuming logic for reduced power drain.
Fuse: A.C. line fuse
